During the past year, a working group appointed by the Ministry for Education and Employment (MEDE) was entrusted with the responsibility to look into the use of social media by educators. As part of the terms of reference and to better understand the current situation in this respect, in collaboration with the Malta Communication Authority (MCA), the working group came up with an online questionnaire to collect feedback from teaching grades across all sectors.
Therefore, your feedback is being sought and encouraged through your participation on this online survey which is available at the link below:
The online form is currently active. Kindly note that spaces are limited, only the first 150 applications or registrations received until Friday 23rd November 2018 will be accepted. All responses are completely anonymous and your participation would be much appreciated. The results of this survey will be presented during a national seminar organised by MCA and MEDE which will be held on Friday, 7th December 2018 at the Dolmen Hotel, St Paul’s Bay.
Registrations for the seminar, Educators and the Use of Social Media can be made through this website (programme hereunder). A copy of the proposed `Guidelines on the appropriate use of electronic communication and Social Media` will be distributed during the seminar.
